Platinum Royal Oak Offshore

Thinking of buying brand new platinum royal oak offshore full bracelet. They are hard to get as they are limited edition. MSRP is $122k. Talk me out of it lol!

Make sure you can try it on first, it’s super heavy! The “brick” (full gold offshore) is almost 450g and I believe this one is even heavier.

It's not, it's only 320gr. I wish it was 450g

I have the 44mm platinum offshore which I don’t find heavy however I’ve tried on the 42mm full bracelet version, it’s so heavy that I really don’t think you would enjoy wearing it. JMO.

If the RG Daytona is 220g and Platona 280g, then if the RG Brick is 320g the Platinum Brick would be around 400-420g.

Oops, I stand corrected! Not sure where I got that number from then, thanks for the input!

AK797 is correct, according to this WatchBox video the Platinum offshore is 430 grams.

I won't buy that for 2 reasons

1) It's like wearing a brick
2) It's a lot of extra premium to pay for platinum

YMMV.

Thats what I'm worried about. But I like heavy watches. I can wear it on a rubber strap if its to heavy but then what am I paying so much cash for if I don't use the bracelet much lol

It’s one incredible watch.

Would this be the heaviest watch in standard production ?

This monster is 21.5g short of a pound! Tried it on at the NYC boutique a year or two ago ... 432g.

$122k for a heavy modular chrono watch, a complete joke.

I think if you want to make a statement the brick is a better option. I like it but if you put a bracelet on the Elephant you have almost the same look. IMO

I am planning on using it as my daily wearer. I think the platinum is subtle especially when compared to the yellow gold, so I don't know how much of a statement it would make lol. Its more stealth wealth. I think most people would think it is just a titanium or stainless steel piece. I feel only watch enthusiast would know what it is. The bracelet is brushed not polished so it looks even more under the radar. Its funny we pay way more for platinum than gold and its much more understated lol.

I tried it a few months ago. It is an awesome watch, heavy watches just feel special and this is one of the heaviest out there.

Great thing is despite the weight it is really comfy.

Too heavy too expensive. Get a PP 5980 or 5990 if you are spending 122k.

I agree. I just love heavy watches and platinum just has a different feeling when you wear it.
