Brenda's back

Yes I picked up the trouble and strife from Bahrain airport tonight. Her flight was two and a half hours late, which meant I had to stay in the bars longer.

It's six weeks since I last saw her so we have a little bit of catching up to do. Today I've been very busy tidying up the house and making sure all the toilet seats are down. First thing tomorrow we are heading back to Bahrain and staying over until Friday evening. It's a hard life being an International traveler.

Good news!

I'm sure Brenda will be impressed (did you make sure the toilet roll was put the 'women's' way on? :-))

Hope you two have a good get together and you take her out for a nice romantic meal (and that means NO mushy peas!!) :-)

Glad she made it back safe Adrian. I hate being away from Andie, I hate talking to myself and only eating McDonalds.

Well the hotel bar is closed because of Ramadan but I'm sure we will find a watering place. The restaurants are also closed until 17:20 tonight so we have bulked up on breakfast.

How do you guys do it? I can't seem to get rid of Arleen for more than a couple of hours. Do you know what that does to my social life?

I get three weeks off per year. Maureen gets about seven. (She's been at the same company for 23 years.) She likes to travel. That pretty much does it. :-)

Who gives a toss about your 'social life'? But, pray, do tell us what it does to your sex life?

I know the feeling, Adrian. I was supposed to fly back to Melbourne last night, but my dad got hospitalised again with one of his ever-increasingly regular bouts of multiple infections, so I've had to postpone my flight till next Tuesday, which will bring it up to five weeks that I've been away from Sasha. Mind you, I'll be back for five weeks before taking off again. This travelling thing sucks.

Ehh, true, but like Marvin said, ain't nothing like the real thing. Hopefully this will be the second last trip before I'm able to cut it down to one trip a year.

James, I hate being away for a weekend, that is too bad pal. But I really hope your father improves and lets your 5 week stay be a relaxing one mate.
