Waitlist for a 5990

Is there any out there that are waiting for a 5990? Or is is just 5711/12 that everyone wants?

Wait list is a standard for all Nautiluses and Aquanauts.

That said, the 5990 is in less demand than the 5712 which is in less demand than the 5711 which is in more demand than anything else.

i just got the 5990. honestly, i find it way more present as a watch than the 5711. having said that, the wait time is the same. grey are going at twice MSRP for new.

i have the 5712 also, but i think the 5990 is the queen of all nautilus. if Patek comes with a blue dial, i reckon its price will even go above current grey.

If 5990 is the queen, who is the king?

Personally I only like the 11/12’s. Don’t care for any of the larger ones... for a larger watch there is AP roo and RM for me at least

I am asking because I tried on a 5711 that was rose gold a few years back and I thought it seemed a bit underwhelming on me. I am a pretty big guy. I tried on a 5990 around the same time and thought it was great. Anyway my dealer offered me a 5990 to purchase and I was thinking about it buying it but wondered why I didn’t hear about that one as much. Anyway I’ll probably buy it just because to me it seems like a cooler watch than the basic ones.

If offered buy it... debate if u like it after. It’s a nice watch but like u said U are a big guy so maybe it fits well on the wrist. If u like how rolexes wear. You’ll like how the 5990 wears

There is no list. Only the biggest whales get it. And these whales can ask for as many pieces as they like.

Ok, bought the watch. Wore it for an hour and the rotor got stuck! Turns out some little piece that looks kind of like a thick washer with a cutout in it is floating around the movement....dealer told me to send it to Patek and they will fix it.

Hopefully they don’t take forever. But man what a buzz kill.

I think both Kings in a way but the G is more Henry VIII and the P more George VI, the Speech guy.
