It looks like a random serial in the rehaut so why would it hurt the value being there was not a serial or model no. on the case to begin with?

Like the OP, I regret selling my 14060M, but prices have gotten so silly lately, I don't reasonably consider getting another.
However... the cost of the new case (and I presume bezel as well) with the service doesn't seem terribly extraordinant for Rolex. Dare I suggest, almost reasonable? Nah. But hey, congrats OP, enjoy it!

Looks great...my first thought was $2K for the case. I would do the same if necessary.

Looks good, rather a new case than an overpolished case. Good to see Rolex is still making / keeping parts for these neo-vintage watches.
