Thanks very much. I am about the same as you. Depending on brand I can wear up to about 41 mm. 39/40 mm is likely the sweet spot. Really depends - to me - on whether there is any lug overhang. Does not look like you have that issue at all. Looks great.

Exactly. A 41mm royal oak or VC Overseas is huge on me but it this one or a 5524 fits great.

Agree with you on the VC.

Tried on a 5172 any felt too much lug overhang. I love the 5170.

Will have to give the 5524 a try.

This is growing on me. Typically shy away from anything over 41mm, does it wear small?
