The 2 second variance has to do with the regulation of the balance. Your watch will keep that 2 second deviation even if the watch has no hands on it at all.

If the hands are put on an hour off, it will still tick at +/-2 seconds, but the date change will reflect that hour visually.

Mine does that sometimes. It’s really weird though. Seems like it happens after the power reserve has run down and I had to set the time.

Here is the best fix to all bothered —- go to sleep at 9, wake up refreshed and boom, Date will be correct
