Hello

I asked my AD to find the grey face white gold Daytona on bracelet and got the call yesterday.

Should I ask for a discount to retail or to bundle with a SS Daytona? If so, what type of discount could I ask or expect?

Also, they are a PP AD as well and I really want a PP Aquanut (really any reference).

Any chance for a package deal?

Not entirely sure how our answers will help you as the final say will come from the AD regardless. In any case you mention you like and want the Aquanaut, getting the SS Daytona in a bundle with the PM Daytona you are purchasing seems to push you further from the Patek

unless of course you have access to unlimited resources then get both the Daytonas and ask for the Patek

Also, nothing wrong with asking for a discount, worst they can say is no.

I do not think Chicago ad will offer you any discount. You will have to build a strong profile to get a patek aquanut.

You're being allocated a very sought after watch, it's a sellers market not a buyers when dealing with AD's. Good luck

You shouldn't be paying full price for a PM Rolex. I doubt that watch is low-demand enough for you to get a package with a premium steel model, but you should be getting something off the retail price. See what it sells for with warranty from resellers and aim for not much more than that.

I think you have to start the negotiation with the intentions of buying multiple watches. What if the AD doesn't have what you want today? Could you get it next week or next month, or whenever it comes in? The best is to leave the store with the pieces you want not waiting. Ask the AD "what else do you have that I can buy today?" As to your question regarding discount, really depends on the AD. The AD that is moving stock isn't discounting, and my opinion is that the AD that is discounting to move product may not be an AD for very long, because Rolex appear to have the strategy to reduce the number of Dealers. Fewer dealers,equals no discounting at MSRP. If no discount, and no other watches for sale, consider buying on the secondary market if available at a discount.

Highly unlikely that the Chicago AD that you talk about will give you any discount. Not sure about a bundle deal.

Some people on here will find ADs still discounting some pieces, but in SDGO, discounts are gone regrettably. I think part of that is due to SS hot models pulling the values up on PM pieces when they were being bought instead of SS due to the lack of supply. I hope this changes, but for now, it’s a sellers market on Rolex, at least for anything SS and certain hot SS models like Daytona, GMT, Sub.

I don't think they will give you the ss dayton by just buying a WG daytona...you might have to buy a lot of 36 dj, some of the girl size watch before they even put your name on the list

Greys selling the 116509 below MSRP, which means that you tell your AD to kick rocks if they dont offer a discount.

You should be looking at a 10% off for a fair price and shipping the watch out of state.

Probably all over by now but:

10% on the PM or bundled with a Daytona (b or w your choice) ceramic with both at retail.

And ask for a delivery date on your Patek.

You are going to be a repeat buyer just from them.

If no joy then consider the same deal with a grey.
