Even Links are hard to get

I need a link for my Milgauss, called a few AD’s and they all have to order and could take a few weeks.

That’s quick! I bought a SS/Gold SkyDweller and have to wait 3 months before my extra link arrives... can’t wear it as my wrist’s too big...

I had to buy a RubberB strap just so I can enjoy the watch on my wrist...

Wonder where all the spare links went, someone building their own rolexes??

I heard you have to build a relationship and buy a DJ or two to put your name on a list for an extra link. It's what I heard.

Maybe I should go grey, but probably have to pay double for my links.

Maybe Rolex doesn’t sell links anymore because they all end up at greys...

AFAIK the ADs don’t stock links and they all need to be ordered through Rolex...unless of course they have some around from resizing someone’s watch and holding onto the extra link!

That maybe true, but none of the service centres in Asia had any links either, so mine has to be ordered from Switzerland, and I was told to wait 3 months...

Either they send it via cargo ship or they have to wait for them to be manufactured...

Really don’t understand how that’s possible. Did they really not make any spare links for TT SkyD??

Maybe Rolex don’t expect people to actually wear the watch...??

Try Chrono24, eBay or better yet, place a wanted ad here.

If your AD is Govberg, I’m not surprised.

I ended up taking one out of my GMTIIc, it fit just fine. The GMTIIc still fits well without it and i still have the half link on both if I need more room.

I purchased from eBay aftermarket. Once installed you can’t tell the after market from the genuine.

Every aftermarket I have seen is nowhere near the quality of a factory link. Rough edges, tight fit, sub par QC, etc. and most are 316 stainless and not 904.

Not the ones I have. Fit and look perfect to the original links.

A few weeks is normal. It took about 3-4 weeks to get a half link for my sub 5 years ago before the SS craze.

I heard the links are easier to get if you purchase some jewelry first. :)

It took about two weeks to get a Jubilee link for my wife’s watch. Sounds about right.
