What Rolex wouldn't you buy?

Right now that's two Rolex I'd never have.

1. The current Airking can't stand the dial full of numbers.

2. The Sea Dweller steel and gold I don't see the point. The SD was always a real tool clock. And with the increase in diameter, the cyclops and making it out of steel and gold goes against the historical spirit of the SD. For me the last Sea Dweller was 116600.

Which is your least favorite Rolex in the lineup?

For me it would be the Daytona. Dial is way too busy for my liking.

Any Rolex without gold or platinum.

I don’t believe in luxury stainless steel.

Lol. No, I never had and never will buy anything over MSRP. I also do not have any interest in any of the 6 digit references so no plans to buy anything by Rolex at present.

I don't imagine myself buying any of the Rolex professional/sport models.

I've had three Rolex watches so far and no Professional line models. I like the Oyster Perpetual and DJ lines enough to spend my money on them. For divers, GMTs and similar watches I prefer other brands.

It's unusual, but very respectful of your opinion

I don't think consumers preferring Rolex Classic category watches is "unusual".
My guess is that Rolex worldwide annual sales is likely 70% Classic models vs 30% Professional/Sport models.

Airking. I have the Milgauss Z Blue. The Airking would have the same case, Faraday cage and movement, but the Z Blue has a gorgeous dial and the Airking dial is blah.

I’m not a big fan of the cyclops. Although I must admit the blue Yacht Master is calling my name...
