Here's mine, really happy with it. The ring is solid white gold, with cobalt accents. Think it matches well with both my SubC, and GMT C.

Very nice story and what a cool heirloom to have. I've been married for 23 years, I told my wife that I would most likely not wear the wedding band after we were married. I have my reasons, but it's mainly due to its not comfortable. I have thought about going the silicon route, but frankly she doesn't care. Oddly, not one person in her family or mine has asked me about it.

my wedding ring is two toned, white gold and diamond in the middle, rimmed by yellow gold on each side. Tens of watches later I'm wearing a TT Bluesy. Wonder if my wife figured that out when she chose the ring, or if I just got lucky.

Nope, matching a wedding ring to watches is not an issue for me. I think it’s like trying to match things to your eye or hair color. It’s just a staple that stands alone.

I get the whole matching your watch to cufflinks "best practice." I think the wedding ring is an exception though. From my perspective, you should only have one ring and that shouldn't limit you to a particular color material that your watch is made of.

These Carlex rings are great if you want to match your watch and wedding band. It’s not my style but they are pretty sharp.

Another vote for it not matching, but don’t show any of this to your wife and hurt her feelings. I personally wear a platinum band with my sub and it looks pretty good. Was a 40th wedding gift from the Mrs.

Our wedding rings were designed with platinum and YG accents to match my TT Sub.

10 years later, I had a YG wedding ring made to go with my YG GMT and the DD my father gave me.

Cracks my wife up. I need to be match my jewelry to my watches!

Wifey's and my wedding ring(s) are platinum. My watches are SS or TT. If I ever ventured into full gold, it would be the Smurf. I appreciate and like full YG; yet I wouldn't wear it because it's too flashy for the office. Plus, we live in a city that has a lot of robberies.

Me too. I have to be honest. I have thought about getting a wedding band to match my submariner, but decided not to worry about it.

I just don’t want to get in a mode where my wedding band dictates any future watch purchase.

The ring is tungsten. I've worn it for years except for the short time I had a stainless and gold Datejust 41 that I sold to get my latest Sub. I'll admit, it bugs me when the watch and ring don't match. Kinda like belt and shoes.

Pretty insane if you ask me. They look neat but not sure if it’s my style, plus, they are a little pricey for my taste.

I found this one, and it reminds me of my Datejust with fluted bezel.
