dial slip
I found this watch when moving my mom from one house to another. It was my dad's and he's humored that I've shown interest in it. Anyone know how complex it would be to have the dial adjusted? It otherwise seems to be in great shape and is keeping time.

Umm, well it will likely need some kind of service. Even if its running ok, it looks well worn (always a good thing in my eyes), but good to make sure the seals are good so its water tight. I know Seiko USA can do the service, but do not know about their fees.

Any watchmaker worth his salt can fix that. Probably can use a good service, cleaning, and new crystal.
That original beads of rice bracelet is awesome. Desirable on a vintage Seiko. Should clean up nicely and for not too much money for basically a free heirloom. You can then show your old man and enjoy it whenever you want for the next 25 years.

If the dial no longer has locating pins, it would need to be bonded to the movement when it is reassembled.
It isn't a huge deal, it is simply a compromise, or another dial can be sourced.

Hopefully you can get the dial sorted and it would be a nice watch to have , the beads of rice bracelet is really comfortable to wear also. My white dial says hello

Maybe contact LA WatchWorks regarding a sympathic restoration. That model is a beaut, especially on that bracelet - has a Doxa-esque vibe
