15500 Serial Numbers

I’ve seen posts selling K series 15500, and J series, etc in the models before that. My 15500 starts with a P in the serial number. Which seems strange. It doesn’t line up alphabetically like it seems like it should. It shows up on the website, but does anyone know why some serial numbers seem to be random while others are in a “series”?

I think after J and K, AP switched to "random" serials. I've seen Wxxxxx.

I have asked my SA previously why the newly launched watches are in random serial numbers, it is to prevent the counterfeit factories from easily guessing it and producing it since it is no more in sequence
