Insert is a newer insert so that’s not original

Dial looks like a Mk IV in nice condition but wait for more expert point of view.
Case is over polished to me.
Insert is of course not period correct ans a correct one from this era is quite expensive (I would say minimum 2000$)
Crown seems to be a later replacement 703 instead of the original 702 but no big deal to me.
Datewheel looks newer as well.
Bracelet seems to be a later 93150.

The top right lug especially has been over polished. Compare it to the top left. Big difference. That alone would be a deal-breaker for me.

I'd try to find a nicer condition 1680, perhaps without papers to save the money. I'd rather have that same money invested in a watch in better overall condition.

Regarding the papers, the pic only shows service papers...
Quite nice to have the service history of the watch but not as valuable as Original punched papers in my opinion.
I would definitely look for a better one.

Its not really a 'cheap' one....$22k is FMV imo for that.

Be careful with the word "original" when you are talking vintage watches - ask for clarification! To some original means that it was the exact part the watch came with, to others it means that it has Rolex genuine parts.

I'm not sure if the bezel insert is original to the watch or not, it could be.

The watch has definitely been polished/detailed quite a bit. It is not necessarily a bad thing, old things need to be restored sometimes. I think we would need a lot more photos with details on lugs, crown guards, back, bracelet numbers incl end-links, etc, etc, etc in order to provide you with better advise.

Insert is not original to the watch, it is later circa 1980s

well, unless you like stuff that's been cobbled up together by lots of ebay accessories purchases FROM DIFFERENT YEARS ....don't
this is not a ' grail ' 1680 by any means

I agree with what has been said, just be careful to double check that the papers are matched to the watch if you decide to buy.

I'm with Swish - I'd keep looking for a nicer and correct example. You shouldn't have to spend $20,000 plus for a watch with incorrect parts or issues.
