1655 Bracelet Choice

If you had to choose between a mint 93150 (from 2005) or a mint 78360 (from 2001) to put on a new (to you) 1978 1655, which would you choose?

The 78360 is the "correct" modern bracelet but the 93150 is comfortable and slightly more secure (given the clasp).

Adjustability and comfort is about the same IMO, they both have roughly the same amount of adjustment points in the clasp and if I recall, the inner clasp blades are the same. The only difference with a 93150 is that it has a flip lock and a full length outer clasp housing, the 78360 has a shorter clasp housing. The links themselves are exactly the same. So the parts that actually touch your wrist are no different.
You could argue that one has a divers extension and the other doesnt but unless you are diving, what does it matter?

Thanks! I've put the 93150 on it for now but I think I'll switch over to the 78360 as the bracelet. Since, as you note, there shouldn't be a comfort difference, then it's probably best to opt for the "correct" one.

Agreed. It's more appropriate for a 1655, and I personally find it more comfortable anyway. I have a relatively small wrist, and the large clasp of the 93150 is a bit awkward.

It now has the proper bracelet and end links! Comfortable and, aside from having to get used to the smaller case (compared to modern), very stylish. I better understand the allure of this vintage!
