Incoming - Aqua Terra

Hey everyone!

I started a new job and wanted a watch that didn’t draw too much attention for the first few months. So this became my first Omega! Love the unique dial, I hadn’t notice this watch before and found it and had to get it. The blue markers react very nicely to the light and go from looking shiny & light blue to matte & dark blue. The dial is also not exactly white, but more so a creamy white. The 38mm case size seems perfect.

Funny enough when I bought my Breguet 7337 last year, a friend sent my a video watchfinder had done on the watch months after I bought it. Now rewatching the video - the Omega I bought is shown side by side with the breguet I bought a year ago (2nd to last picture thumbnail of video; link https://youtu.be/tTt72-nJgpY). Crazy coincidence.

That exact Omega AT was my first venture into watches. I love how thin it is and the see-through caseback is a nice touch. And yes, perfect size at 38.5. Wore it today as a matter of fact. Nice Choice.

Cheers. It's seriously the most beautiful Aquaterra I've seen up to now - blue hands and sticks, and the date window at 3 o'clock with a smaller stick which balances much better than current models

Adding this to my wishlist !

Uh, while the AT is a great watch in any color some would beg to differ and say the original AT Skyfall blue dial was the best

Congrats, that's a great AT. The size along with the thin profile make it my favorite generation of the Aqua Terra line. It also looks great on the Brown Croc strap with deployant. Breguet is complimented well by it. Enjoy!

On this one I like the finish of the "teck dial", and the lume inside the indices and on the full length of the minutes hand. But I'm not a fan of the square index around the date window, I find it upsets the overall balance of the dial.

Aqua Terra such a great watch, so much bang for your buck.... Right up there with the grand seikos in terms of what you get for your money. Beautiful combo, love the blue accents. A true classic

So... OP, I was so mesmerised by your first Omega, that I had to get one for myself

And it became my first Omega as well

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to acquire this timepiece, about which I'll be doing a review thread, err... sometime later

Aqua Terra's are so nice, especially gray or blue dial on a blue rubber strap
