AD return policy

So if an AD has a 30 day return policy on anything they sell but states in writing only unworn, unaltered items can be returned. Doesn’t that automatically disqualify your Rolex to be returned being they remove all the stickers, size the watch for you and put your name on the warranty card? Just wondering if anyone has ever tried returning their Rolex and had this be an issue?

If its a sort after SS model, they will be rubbing their hands. As they can shift it on with a very large mark up, to what they sold you at MSRP.

I bought one for my wife. My AD told me they would hold off on activating the warranty card, sizing it and removing the stickers because if they did I could not return it. It was a Datejust however. When I bought my hulk they removed everything before I left. They also told me I could not return it after they remove the stickers and it’s been sized. I just didn’t have a choice with the sub lol.

Yes, that would absolutely be the case for a Hulk or a Batman, even a stainless Sub. But even in this environment there are models going for less than retail on the grey market.

For instance a 126660 Seadweller.

So basically now because the AD’s must remove the stickers all sales are final!

Many things aren’t fair/don’t make sense...

Also fake waiting lists aren’t very fair ...

In fairness, I think the ADs would prefer that you refer to it as a $1,000 deposit.

Seems like a clear return policy and doesn’t matter if it’s a Rolex or Speedo’s.

Based on reports, you can make money selling any Rolex today so, congrats? I think.
