Tanks - Should I Service?
So these are two Cartier Tanks I picked up, they’re from the ‘70’s and perhaps ‘80’s. No clue about service history. I planed on havig them serviced but I just put them on the time grapher and thy don’t look bad to me. Thoughts? I certainly need new straps no matter what, and cocodering how worn the straps are I should probably just do a full service.

The 64 S/D I would consider but the other if it doesn’t kill you I wouldn’t stress it. Most ETAs which TAG older Breitling etc use have a variance of +30/-30 IIRC.

depends on your intentions with them. If one or both are going to become daily wears that you will need to depend on you definitely would want to service. If just the occasional fun wear every now and then, let it go and just enjoy as they are.
