I'm writing a book

About 20 years ago, I decided to write a book about the interesting people I've met in my life. I went so far as to enroll in a writing course at the local college. And I really put effort into this class.
At the end of this class, the instructor took me aside and told me I was his worse student and had no talent for writing. He was not even nice about it.
Well over the years , I persevered.
I got numerous rejections, but I would not give up.
Finally last weekend I got some good news.
That douchbag instructor had just died.
