Strap suggestions for ladies’ size TT Seiko?

I recently received a gift of a ladies’ size (well under 30mm) two tone Seiko (fluted bezel, Jubilee-style bracelet, gold-tone dial, etc….the kind that looks like a ladies’ DJ). It is engraved to me as a memento, so it’s a keeper. Because I do wear a DJ, I don’t want to wear the Seiko as-is on its bracelet. I would, however, like to put it on a strap and wear it from time to time.

Does anyone have suggestions for a different strap for a traditional, TT Datejust-looking Seiko? I was considering perhaps a blue rubber strap, but maybe that’s too out-there? I’ve looked at various online strap dealers, but there are few offerings in ladies’ sizes, and the example photos tend to be of sports watches or of single-tone DJ (SS or YG).

I’ll measure. The watch itself is pretty tiny, 26-28mm.

The odd thing is that it’s a presentation watch and I got the box with it, but I don’t see a model # anywhere, and I couldn’t find it online. It’s my work’s standard presentation watch given upon retirement, so they’ve been using it for years.

Just what you need at retirement; a watch you can’t read as you get older…Lol
Said by someone who wears bifocals already 🤓. Congratulations on your retirement. Enjoy!!

Thanks! Agreed. My watches are getting bigger as I get older. My MIL’s vintage 1979 26mm DJ is almost unreadable.

I finally figured out what it is.

It’s a ladies’ bracelet watch, model SWZ054. It’s shown as “sold out” on the Seiko website, and I couldn’t find dimensions. The watch is so small that I measured it a few times, and as best as I can tell it’s 13mm between the lugs.

https://seikousa.com/products/swz054...7a74e84a&_ss=r

The watch is way, way smaller than my vintage (1977) ladies’ Tudor Princess Submariner. Top to bottom the Seiko is about 26mm. My Tudor is equipped with the old foldover link Rolex bracelet, which is much lighter than the modern Rolex Oyster. Yet, the Tudor feels positively hefty compared to this ladies’ Seiko bracelet. So, swapping the bracelet for a strap will ensure that I actually wear the watch.

The Seiko is two tone, with a gold tone face, gold hands, and a fluted gold tone bezel. The custom retirement dial takes up the whole dial, so there is actually no date window on the watch. As indicated, this is essentially a ladies’ DJ homage.

I think it would be pretty easy to find a strap if it were all SS, but the two-tone with gold tone dial complicates it. Maybe there’s a blue rubber strap that will work. The strap websites I’ve looked at don’t seem to have a good selection for women’s watches.

I don’t want any type of strap that rubs against the caseback (eg a NATO style) because my name is engraved on the back.

Any strap suggestions are appreciated.
