Incoming - First AP!

My first AP arrived today!!! So excited, it’s even better than I’d imagined. Perhaps a silly question, but figured I’d ask the experts here: I’m not used to a watch with only 50m of WR. Is it ok to clean it in the sink like I do my Rolexes, or is there a safer way water-wise?

I clean my RO in sink no worries. I’m not one who’d swim with it but some guys do

Absolutely what Fort Rolex above said.
Simply avoid blasting it with a strong stream of faucet water and the watch will be fine. (Which is also equivalent to swimming.)

50m wr AP says is fine for surface swimming not diving. I regularly pressure check my watches, and have done some swimming with my 15202 much to the horror of others. im less apt to actually swim with it nowadays but have no problem wearing it in the pool.

I have a GoPro camera resistant to this depth of 50m, and I have done many snorkeling trips with it without any problem. The seals are designed for, as for your watch.
It's not just for water, but also pressure and dust.

And I can tell you that reaching only 30m depth makes you realize how huge it is already !!

The precious aspect, however, requires attention, and I do not recommend diving with it either.

Just to say that to run washing water over it, there is no great risk !

I sincerely think that watches that are water-resistant to 100m and above are great because they are versatile, never mind, but mainly marketing.
There are few men going to these depths, and certainly more with a computer than a pretty watch, it is completely useless...

Congratulations on this great acquisition.

Well done on the ROC! 50m is fine for swimming without equipment let alone a sink or bowl of water to clean!

Thank you! 6.25 or so, but very flat so more like 6.5. It fits PERFECTLY which is always a problem for me. I was very surprised I only needed to take out one link for a good fit…I wonder how they size this for larger wrists.

Thank you all for the great advice and warm welcome! I think I’m just a little nervous not having had something like this before. I’m super comfortable doing almost anything with my Rolexes so I’m sure I’ll get there soon enough with this one too.
