Poll: Best Color Combos for Refreshed Perpetuals

Looks like the PQ's have been refreshed. New blue (though for the life of me can't find good examples of how the new blue differs from the old blue in the ROC, supposedly the new blues match the new RG ROC).

Curious on looks alone, list price/resale considerations aside, what color combo would you pick if wearing the watch 2-3 days every week.

Blue/Steel? Salmon/Titanium? Blue/RG?

Apologies in all in advance, couldn't get the screen shot the fit under the 1250 pixel requirement. Tech fail on my part.

Also, I had thought maybe this was LE to Asia but doesn't look like it has that restriction? Anyone know more than I do on this? Link to AP site for the watch: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/e...1220TI.01.html

Tough to tell from the pictures, but the blue dial on the "refreshed version" looks more dynamic than the previous blue dial.

The previous blue looks darker and more matte.

I agree, hard to tell. Best photo (not optimal lighting) I could find was Xerxes new ROC incoming where he put the old blue in SS next to the new RG. He said looked all the same to him in the flesh. I assume based on that, maybe just a hair darker, but still metallic instead of matte.

This is THE one, wow, not sure you can find a better salmon dial. Seen them posted on IG from people around the world, not that would dictate an Asian LE or not but I fear what these end up going for from Grey dealers. The blue PC dial looks identical to the older version which was a dark blue, identical to the 26331 ROC blue for what I saw at the boutique a few years back. They did make a lighter blue platinum PC which is still on their website.

I must confess I've never been a salmon dial person myself. Never say never though.

If you notice there, there are actually two blue dial SS, though I believe the original blue once from 2015 or whenever the 26574 line was released is now supposedly discontinued.

In a head to head perpetual, if there was a hypothetical titanium PP 5740 and this salmon dial, which one wins for you 7sins?

Salmon dial looks outstanding. I could never warm up to the week counter, though, it just makes the dial so unecessarily busy.

Surprisingly, I actually like the week counter. I find it incredibly useful for a reminder of the passage of time in a year with weekly goals/sprints or even quarterly thinking. Much more than the month dial. But I will confess to being odd like that!

The week counter is useful for me too, and there are not many week counter watch around (only one I can think about is the 5212 with Patek).

I never seen the salmon PC but if it is the same as the 15202 salmon then it will be money.

Oh man, that would be quite the hypothetical, probably would give the nod to the AP here. Only because one of my favorite things about the 5740 is the WG weight paired in a slim case but I still prefer the AP bracelet and bezel to the Nautilus. Just my personal preference, would be great to have both in a collection!
