Is this 1803 Yellow, Rose or ?

I keep looking at this 1803 and keep seeing tint of rose, so I asked the seller.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/401555504837?ul_noapp=true
Here is the response
"GREAT question. WE bought this from a south American gentleman and we debated as to whether it was yellow or rose when we bought it. We decided it was that famous "third color" collectors talk about. It looks rose when put next to a yellow gold watch and looks yellow when put next to a really PINK gold watch. Rolex made a lot of those oddly colored ...mildy off yellow.. alloys early on.

WE are calling it yellow!"

What do you think ?

Tough call from pics. I had my 1012 (Rose) and 1013 (Y) out yesterday and frankly they're more alike than different. At a glance the dial and handset differences jump out far more than the case colour.

This one doesn't look as yellow as my 1013.

I would say that it is a yellow gold one that has patina with rose gold hue...here are my two RG ones. One modern Everose 118235 DD and one vintage RG 1601...quite more copperish in color, especially the vintage RG:

Here are two pics that may help you. I had the same question about my 1807 - was it YG or RG. Sometimes it looks one way, sometimes the other. So I took it to an AD and compared it to a new YG (on the left) and RG (on the right). Mine is YG.

As stated before, Rolex's older YG alloys are more coppery in color. Yours is likely YG too.

Either way, it's a nice 1803, and that unblemished blue dial is a plus.

Great watches! Yes, I'm an outcast, a no taste bumpkin, the "trailerest trash" on God's green earth but......***

That "Bark Finish" piece is
wicked-super cool. If I might ask,
What year is that reference?

***no offense to: outcasts, pumpkins, trash or trailer dwellers of all stripes.

Thanks,
Mark

I’m a little confused regards the description President bracelet I thought there was only one type with concealed clasp.

Nah, older ones had the usual-looking clasp but just in gold rather than SS. I'm wearing my 1803 today, president bracelet from "3 68" has the non-concealed clasp.
