I think Target bags offer a little more sturdiness.

My wife also likes to use “any extra room” in my bag.

I solved this taking 3-4 day motorcycle trips with my wife. Saddlebag space was at a premium and she learned to pack smarter and it stuck with her for airline travel too.

Funny

My wife folds clothes better than I do. I use the American football signal for offside to fold my clothes. My wife also dresses better. She can take whatever suitcases she wants.

Yup, can totally relate. We’re going to Florida for a few days. I have a Osprey Porter 46L backpack which contains my clothing, shoes, toiletries, computer, tablet, and camera. My wife is taking Tumi hard sided 26” and 22” bags, a humongous pocket book and canvas beach bag.

I got so used to traveling for weeks on a motorcycle with nothing more than a small duffel bag. First time I travelled with my wife I couldn’t hide the look on my face when I saw her multitude of packed suitcases. After my initial shock I realized that she always looks great and I always look like a transient. So I’ve never complained, but instead have been thankful that she’s willing to be seen with me.
