Recent delivery of 5711 in the U.S.?
Hi,
Has anyone taken a delivery of 5711 steel, either blue or white dial, during the last few weeks in the U.S.? I am on the waitlist for both dials (preference for white) at 2 ADs and apparently they have not been given a white dial since March. Typically, both of them receive 3 white dials in a year. However, they are yet to receive their remaining 2 white dials for the year. It seems that Patek has really dried up 5711s in the U.S. Just checking whether it is a more widespread phenomenon. Thanks |

Not yet. I’m waiting for a 5711 blue dial. I put a deposit down in May with an expected delivery at the end of year. I checked in with the rep at the AD a few weeks ago and no word yet. The rep was not able to tell when what they’ve received recently. Based on what I’m hearing and reading, not expecting it by the end of the year. That being said, I’d be happy with delivery at the beginning of the year.

I ordered in august, expecting it next summer. That being said, I got my 5524 4 months early and the AD explained it as Patek wants to move product before the new year.

I think it is a world wide phenomenon which has existed for several years.

I got my blue 5711 in late Oct, I laid my deposit Feb of this year and ETA was to be Feb 2018, but then I was told it would be much later than that. Surprisingly, I got a call saying it was in, I went in haste to pick it up. Told my AD NOT to crack open the seal until I arrived and it was everything I imagined it would be and more. Cheers! Same month too! lol |

Thank you all for your responses. It seems that these are being delivered. My AD also got his final shipment of 2017 last week which included the blue dial 5711 besides few other Nautlius models. No white dial tho. The blue dial was obviously already spoken for. He is now telling me Spring 2018 for my white dial. Guess I will have to wait for few months.

Hi, I am on the waitlist for. 5711 blue dial as well in the US. The AD did not ask me to put down a deposit, just filled out a form for the deposit. Is this an indicator that I am no where near close yet? Congrats to everyone that has received theirs!

I’ve been having a hard time finding an AD that would even consider putting me down on the waiting list or even take a deposit. Would someone PM me the name of an AD that would take a deposit. Thx

From what I understand, the first or second week of Dec was the last delivery for most watch companies Patek, Rolex, AP and the like for this year. The companies are now on vacation for Christmas and New Years, deliveries would continue starting January.

In California, I get laughed all the way out of the dealership to even try to get on the waitlist. They offered me a PP blue if I purchased a Calatrava at full retail though. Tried offering full deposit and no bite. Seems delivery is happening but ADs are being selective about who gets it.
