Best way to buy foreign language Day Date

Gents - I'm in the market for a YG DD 40, but would want the date wheel in Polish.

Living in the US I could of course order one. However in 2020 (long way off, I know) I will be in Poland. I'm assuming I could get a MUCH better price if I wait and buy in person in Poland - it's not a special order, they should have them in stock, dollar is strong vs the Zloty, etc.

Am I just depriving myself for too long for a nominal price difference?

I don't think there will be a price difference big enough to wait

If you order from an AD you can negotiate a price on the special order. I would be surprised if they didn't give you at least 5% off on a PM model.

However in today's environment you never know. Maybe full RRP since its a special request.

Waiting until 2020 you dont know what the market will be like. It could be worse and PM pieces start selling for more than MSRP. Going the way it is that is quite a possibility as well. I've seen precious metal pieces increase in price in the last 12 months.

Look at the price of a YG SkyD. I was buying them for $32-33k less than 12 months ago. The list price is now over $38k at Grays. Crazy

Wonder if the price difference might cover a flight to Poland to pick one up now.
