116613LB being a everyday watch?

Hello everyone, come to you guys for your inputs

I’ve gotten a itch to finally purchase my favourite piece that I’ve wanted for many years now is the 116613LB. That being said I would be selling my only watch which i love as well 116710LN. My question is what do you guys think as 116613LB being a everyday watch?

Thanks!

Why not?

It is a watch

Yes.

My uncle has been wearing his 16613 for about 20 years now. He bought it for about $9k which is what they were going for back then, and hasn't taken it off since. It goes with him everywhere he goes. Once in a while its cleaned with a jewelers cloth and looks good as new. I think you should do it.

If you like it and want to wear it daily, I will agree to let you

Do you travel a lot/find yourself using the GMT functionality? I personally find the complication on the GMT to be more handy than the Sub "timer", which would give me pause in trading it in for one.

That being said, the 116613LB is a stunning and beautiful watch. The Bluesy is the first watch that really got me interested in mechanical watches and I know it will be added to my collection some day. It can easily be a daily wearer so long as you are comfortable with it.

Do let us know what you decide on doing. I'm curious!

Hardly do any traveling to use up the benefit of having a gmt, but I feel exactly the same with the 116613LB such a stunning piece it’s what got me into watches

I’m mostly in jeans or gym wear, I was all about it being a everyday watch TILL my wife gave her 2 cents into it lol which was the complete opposite

Sure, it's a great watch. It can do it all, from daily wear to special occasions.

But...don't get rid of the GMT. From the way you talk about it in your post, it sounds like you'll miss it. You'll just end up buying it back, and it will be a lot more expensive.

There would be millions of people that wear a full YG piece daily. A 116613LB would not be an issue.

What is your concern with wearing this daily? Its just a watch

I had one for 18 years. It just became too flashy for me and I wore it less and less. I guess tastes change.

I traded it 3 years ago for a BLNR and never looked back.

If it fits your lifestyle for all occasions...why not...it’s a beautiful watch!

Sold mine for making room for my DayDate.
But I wore the bluesy for almost 2 years on regular basis, so why not!

Yep, had one, wore it most days (in rotation) for about a year, but like Bluside mentioned, I decided that it was just a bit too flashy for me, so I sold it and stuck with the BLNR.
