Based on what I’m hearing for looks it’s a pass anyways. Will have to see.

I liken this to Porsche and Lamborghini making an SUV. Sure, it's off-brand, but it pays the bills and allows the brand to have enough sure footing to continue to make great products their core fans love.

Always loved those blue'd steel hands on the 1815. Nice!

I think it will be a big success. The prototype of the sports watch was shown to boutiques and ADs over two years ago......nothing since then, so who knows what has changed during that period of time.
Like I said though, having the brand taking a proactive approach against AD discounts etc. is what is going to help them in the long run. Furthermore, taking the stock off the shelves vs fire saleing it, will also only help.

Love the rose gold 1815 with the blued hands. I traded mine away and picked up the honey gold version later, but I think the blued hands give it a better look. Great 1815 chrono to alternate it with.

What about this Perpetual Calendar
Do any of you own this one? Was considering a Patek 5270--- now thinking about this as an alternative. The 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar

I don't own it but it's an awesome piece and I would take it any day over a 5270, as you're getting a rattrapante complication and better finishing for less money. It is, however, a large piece and my 1815 Chronograph is as big as I want to go in Lange.

Man...whew... those Lumen pics are inciting my jealousy. Concorso would be such a fun event to attend. Wow, im glad you are able to showcase your Lumen in one of the most appropriate settings!!!

I have the double split chrono in platinum.. wonder how it fits in comparison? I agree about what you get and it is unfortunate that these watches do not keep value as well as. Patek

Hey guys, I’m considering this datograph perpetual in a trade. It’s a thing of beauty. Wondering if there’s anything I need to consider or look out for. What’s the general consensus on this piece among the ALS fans here?

Thanks. I agree that the sub-dials might be a bit difficult to read- especially as my eyes begin to age! But I’m happy to have to stare at this dial to figure out what the sub dials say :) Also, the perp calendar is more about the machine than it is about relaying data - at least for me |

If the case dimensions work with your wrist,
I’d say it’s great. The dial is attractive and the movement is a work of art. Too big for me, fortunately... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looking to pull the trigger on my first ALS: Grande Lange 1. For those who have owned, I’m not sure whether to go silver dial/platinum or black dial/WG. The dials are both spectacular, but just not sure about platinum or WG? What are pros/cons of each? Tnx!
