Not that crazy since Tudors are available the day of announcement. My AD had most of the new models in stock. Sure they go fast but they are available.

Tudors’ new models are usually available within a day of their release.

An AD told me there is never an issue getting a Tudor. If one is not available, it will be. It is just a matter of time. In the last few years, as soon as new watches were announced, they were ready at AD waiting to be purchased.

Since an end user could have bought this last Monday and turned around and sold to David SW himself, it’s not really an indication of anything.

Yes there can

The watch was available for purchase at Tudor ADs from 27 March. That is more than enough time for someone to have bought it and sold it on to David SW.

My local AD typically has most Tudors available anyway. Why go grey for one?

Not crazy in any possible way.

AD client got call for this watch.

Client bought watch

Sold it to DSW for a slight profit. Maybe even broke even if they didn't like it and just wanted to dump it.

Simple as that.

It's going for about $4k. Nice watch and I like the white dial.

If people are paying overs for Tudors they need their head examined.

Alternatively I have some magic beans they might like to buy….

Seems folks have short memories. Does anyone not remember when the blue BB58 came out July 2020 and it was available same day worldwide as the announcement?

I won’t put the listing here, but David SW is charging $5475. The watch retails for 4300. Price for getting it this early. Although I imagine this will be easy to get soon enough.I think it’s pretty clear that somebody bought this at an AD and immediately sent it to David SW. Probably made a couple hundred bucks and added spend with his AD.

Gotta be particularly paranoid to jump straight to the “AD selling to greys out of the back door” Schtick.

People’s brains are addled about not being able to get a watch

I don’t understand why pay a premium when it will be easily available at the A.D.Who ever buy this from grey market will loose money for sure

After a couple months they'll be available at your local AD as "relationship builders."

Never know

Somebody could have fell in love with the beautiful opaline dial and made an impulse buy.

Only to get home and have the size and heft of the reference really sink in.

Tudor was selling these day one at the pop up tents in Geneva the day they were announced.

Or got tired of looking at those faux rivets

Hell it would only take me about 10 seconds. Sorry Tudor fans
