Brand new arrival.. my first Rolex.. 2004 14060M Submariner
Afternoon all.. hope you are well.
Well, I only have one post up that's my intro, I had a go at photographing my new arrival... Not the greatest pics in the world, as I am not the best photographer in the world, but I thought I would get them up here in the spirit of the forum. As said.. it's my first ever Rolex, and I am in love. Lovely two lined dial, in superb condition, was new in Nov 2004. I am smitten beyond words!! No wrist shots as yet, the macro wore down my battery on my photography efforts! Thanks for looking, loving the forum.. Greg. |

smc, thanks for the comment... I most certainly am!
Although I do prefer this on the bracelet, I will be wearing this a lot, I believe watches are for wearing, and will be giving it a lot of wrist time.. so I believe that a nice Bond nato will be a good way of preserving the steel band. I am a member of a forum here in the UK, and it's owner is a watchmaker. He has NATO's in by the company which officially supply the Ministry Of Defence over here... and I have just ordered one today! May as well have one by the company who would supply Mr. Bond himself if he wasn't fictional!!! Thanks for the comments gentlemen, it's highly appreciated.. and so is the warm welcome to the forum. Greg. |

Welcome to TRF and the 14060M Club Gregory.
I wear that one to work every day. I like the symmetry of the dial and it's light and easy to wear. Good work mate.

Thanks for the great comments gentlemen... it's highly appreciated.
This baby has been on my wrist for a world record ten or so days since I got it.. and I show no signs of giving it a day off!! I am still absolutely smitten... and am looking forward to my next Rolex purchase, whenever that may be. I can feel a GMT Master on a Pepsi being imminent.. it's just a matter of when!! Cheers again!! Greg |
