Icon8 SCAM ALERT!!! someone pretending to be mboverst

Guys,

Someone is using the good name of one of our trusted sellers mboverst or Matt Overstreet.

here is the scammers email address dfw.watches@gmail.com and the phone number is 386-868-9288

This guy sends me an email selling me a watch. when i asked him to call me, he used a Florida number and said that he is vacationing in Florida. Since I know Matt and I have dealt with him many times, I asked the scammer how many watches Matt bought from me and he said 2... WRONG!!!

WATCH OUT fellow TRF.

Thanks for catching this scumbag Alfred!

To all:

I only email from sales@dfw-watches.com and call from 800-616-6598. I also only go by mboverst on every forum.

I wish I was vacationing in Florida, but I'm stuck in Dallas with no break in sight!

Be careful out there!

Maybe it's common sense but if the guy is a well-respected seller/buyer, more times than naught you should be contacting them. Not the other way at around.

Haha, so true. In his emails he's pretending to be sellers/dealers and pretty much begging to give away a V serial Daytona for $8,000??? Common sense would dictate a seller/dealer would jump all over that take the $2k in easy profit himself and not be begging to sell it?!?
