interested in vintage rolex pieces
Hey fellow TRF members,
I currently possess the GMT II C SS and a SS daytona black dial ( in house movement without rolex engraving around the dial). Upon encountering other member's posts and seeing their lovely vintage pieces, I too have developed a love for vintage rolex watches. Could anyone recommend a few models for me to begin with? I'm hoping to collect 2 vintage pieces along the way ( total budget 10-12k USD). cheers! |

Good stuff. I would recommend:
Submariner 5513 Submariner 1680 (white) GMT 1675 Check those out... There are a number of other vintage pieces but those are what I started reaearching with when the vintage bug hit me... Good luck! |

Hello, for what you want to spend I would recommend either a 1680 sub, 1675 gmt or a 1016 explorer. You can get any combo of two of these and you will be within your budget. Try looking over at vintage Rolex market for them but be sure to post here with what you want before you buy, there are some very sharp guys here who can tell you how original everything is before you pull the trigger. Good luck and happy shopping!
