Value of vintage bracelet? 1680
How much should I pay for the matching bracelet for my 1680? Does it raise the value of my watch to have the matching band or should I even bother?

Do you have a bracelet at all now? If you've got a 93150 and you're tempted to buy a 9315 to complete it, I wouldn't bother. If you have neither and you're considering buying a 9315 instead of a 93150, I also wouldn't bother, I'd get the 93150.

figure 800-900usd should get you a nice band. you could get a tudor 9315 for 500, but you may as well get the right one. the 9315s sell for a solid 20-30pct less than a 93150

It is clear that the clock with original bracelet is worth more, than without, or with bracelet from another year ... I have the exact same problem. Bought my 1680 from 1977, which had the original year of the lock (B = 1977) while the rest of the links is some weird mix ..... Submariner bracelet 93150, from 1970-80 are very expensive. Now I have luck who can use the lock on another bracelet. Maybe you can find one, here on the forum. What year is your Sub from?

A mismatch will not increase the value, unless it is a proper service replacement item.. (in other words, the right bracelet from the wrong era is clearly an add-on and not "original") So, if you want a useful watch, in good condition with reasonable value that will last a long time and not fall apart, get the proper 93150 replacement. If you just want everything to match, expect to pay a premium for a quality replacement of the proper era, but it may cost you more than the "value" of the watch today.

I ended up getting one for 350. Was this a good deal? It was in pretty good condition. No stretch.
