Thoughts on this 1655

Would love to hear some thoughts on this 1655...not sure how serious I am, but it's in a price range that has me looking.

Seller tells me that replaced hands have aged as well. Also, Rolex crown is perfectly visible on the bracelet clasp...just a bad picture.

Thanks...this is a tricky model for me to buy because of all the variations.

Mike

pretty pricey - not much left of the CGs, lume on dial doesn't look very 'clean'.

The pro's will be there soon . . .

Price seems to be ok but I guess you can find them here in the FS section for the same or maybe better amount.

Have a look & good luck

Hi Mike it's a bit pricey with overly polished crown guards for my taste! Contact Jacek he has a couple right now

For Europe that is a 'normal' price . . . and a lot higher . . . unfortunately . . .

Secondhand Rolex are a lot more expensive in the EU . . . . and that's price in Euro's so please add almost 30 % for $$$$ . . . . :-(

Thanks for the feedback! I see Jacek advertise, but what is the best way to reach him? Not sure I'm in the market completely right now, but would be good to be able to drop him a note when I am ready.

Thanks again for the help.

Mike

Be Patient

I'd pass on it as well. Go for all original. The hands on that one would bug me. I echo the sentiments of previous posters regarding the CGs and dirty dial. Looking forward to you joining Team 1655
