Invicta Watch - Rolex Explorer Homage

Before the Rolex Explorer II there was the Invicta Rolex Homage.

I had purchased this watch on amazon about a year ago. I immediately replaced the band with a heavy duty glidelock style bracelet. The bracelet was purchased for about $50 on ebay and to my surprise has been a very nice watch band to have. It is solid stainless steel even the center links. The clasp is IMO very nice for the price.

I liked this watch as it is made to look like the explorer II (homage). For the money it has really held up and for a total of about $150 can't go wrong...

I use have used this a lot for one I am out and about and actually get many compliments on it. Now I think I will pass it down to my 15 year old son who is starting to become a watch head like me.

I wanted to share these pictures with you all.

I like Invicta and have several of their watches. I love their crazy and unique designs and most of the stuff they come up with on their own.

But it bothers me when they make "Homage" watches. That is not an homage. An homage is a unique piece that pays tribute to an idea out of respect.
