Nato vs Zulu for Pepsi GMT?
Hello all,
I'm new to the boards but have been lurking for a while. Would love input and or pics of the best nylon straps for a Pepsi GMT II and where to get them? Any feedback is much appreciated |

The NATO straps are sometimes made of a thinner fabric, fits thru spring bars easier,
plus the NATO with the slimmer extra buckles & fold looks good.

I wear a Nato for my everyday watch and it sometimes is too bulky for coats and dress shirts(then again I have a 26mm strap)
I would go with a Zulu if you are going to be using this for every day Unless sometimes you need to wear your GMT on the out side of your jacket Honestly, I wear mine on the outside of my heavy coat when hunting, i just like knowing that i have that option |

Why not get both and see what you like. Relatively inexpensive and you'll have a couple different options. Cant go wrong with either....

Its been a while since I've posted. I have just got on to the nato straps and they are great and definitely thinner. I tried a zulu a while back and it didn't quite work for me.

I prefer ZULU over NATO and I have both, it's a cleaner, simpler look and lacks the two buckles on each side:

I just don't see the point of the NATO strap. To me, the piece that rides underneath does nothing but add bulk to the strap. Instead of a Nato or Zulu, consider anRAF strap. It is the same as a NATO without the extra fabric and buckle, or without the thickness and bulk of the Zulu.
Here's one, but in leather. |

i prefer Zulu as they are thicker. The cover the non-polished side of the case better, plus the buckle can be placed anywhere on the wrist. They might be hard to fit though due to the extra thickness.
