What's the serial?
insert may have been replaced.
Dial has Patina, but it's not very pretty IMHO.

Looks legit. Much finer examples out there. It's a 5.5 Mill and it's quite deteriorated for the age. I have a 2.3 mill Red that looks in much better shape. Replacement insert. Unless a steal, I'd pass, if you are considering buying.

Then maybe it could be from 1977 ...!! I'm no expert, but I think it looks good. It is vintage ..!!!

Looks ok but like others have said, if not for a very good price, I would pass. Not the "prettiest" example I have seen out there. This is not a rate serial number so there are some nice examples out there for good prices
