1803 - does this right?

Guys, any thing look off about this 1803. It is for sale so wanted some opinions

I’d say it’s had some ... ‘enthusiastic’ (or repetitive) polishing over the years, look at the back of the 11:00 lug in your third photo. The bezel flutes look reasonably sharp, however.

I am not the expert you need, though - I expect clearer, larger pics of the dial will be helpful.

I don’t have much insight, but just wanted to say beautiful watch. I’ve been really wanting a blue dial DD just like this for a while now. For some reason I think it’s just a beautiful combination on this model.

It’s had some polishing but that is really a personal preference. Love the blue dial on the 4 series.

Honestly, the only real detractor to my eye is the missing bracelet. It's been polished a bit, but so has virtually every DD from that era.

Are the hands, hour markers and and coronet white gold or is it just the lighting?

It's not necessarily missing the bracelet. These also came on leather/croc straps, and I don't see any end-link marks on the back of the lugs. It probably came on a strap originally.

But I understand you probably mean you'd prefer it with a bracelet.

A good looking watch. The details and price would determine my level of interest. A 50 year old watch or older does nothing for me if I am going to wear and use it. I have owned watches in this age group and they are difficult to service, find parts and stay original. I also want a PM Rolex watches on a bracelet. I think they look better and have always looked like they are missing something without the bracelet.

That dial looks identical to the one RSC put on my WG model recently. I love it, but not on a YG watch.
