I know the exact feeling (except the kids) I really like breitlings, the skyland avenger is a beast!! are you looking at the one in black steel? i used to have a chronomat evolution- beautiful but you can get preowned/ virtually brand new breitlings for 50-75% of RRP though.

good luck and try and relax your mind

either 0005 or a 112 . i dont really like the PAM's with complications that much. the simple designs look outstanding to me. I prefer the Radiomir style but it would be nice to have a luminor too - not a great fan of teh Submersibles, but there is still time...
you planning on getting one in the near future?

Well, there are some advatages to having a basic movement. Easy to service or repair, reliable and proven, and simple. Try getting a Patek in-house movement repaired in Kathmandu. But, you could get your Unitas movement repaired in Kathmandu.

Hi Toph,

Congratulations on your new PAM - On the subject of sourcing some additional straps, I really would urge you to have a detailed look at ABP based in Paris.

They created 3 Croco straps for my PAM 188 and have to say the craftsmanship and quality is 1st class.

Hope this helps, and enjoy the new purchase

My first "real watch" was a 177 back in 2004. I have wanted an additional one ever since. Came real close 6 months ago to buying a white faced 113 but, changed my mind. Now, that 88 and the 233 look real good to me... too good...
