Does the warranty cover this?
So I was at a friend's farm earlier today delivering some Christmas presents. The own the most frightening looking dog in the world. Goes by the name of 'Grizz'. It's a pitbull type; 120 lbs and a head the size of a serving plate.
It's a perfect farm dog because although it looks terrifying... it's got the personality of a pussy cat. But I'll never try crossing it! As I was leaving it kept jumping playfully and mouthing my arm. The dog got almost my entire forearm in its mouth. My hand and my Rolex Explorer disappeared! All I could think of was "My God this dog could easily rip off my arm! Sure am glad it likes me. I wonder if the Rolex warranty covers this?" |

Oh, and it's the perfect farm dog because anyone coming to their farm with nefarious thoughts on their minds will take one look at Grizz... and look for the next farmhouse.

If under insurance? Or Rolex? Is the watch gone forever, like lost, your insurance might. If its damaged, then likely nope.

Nope.
If you read the fine print, you'll see that Rolex International Warranty specifically excludes the loss of any Oyster Perpetual to any farm dog named Grizz who may be attracted the the watch owner's former arm. The same exclusion apparently also applies to scuba/snorkel divers and barracuda. Although it might make an interesting commercial. With your arm.

Insurance would cover it. If you didn't have insurance some rubber gloves and a few days may also do the job.
