Someone that actually finds the "Day" feature useful in the DD

Weekends not really but my internal "Day" clock gets blurry around Tuesday. In my profession, mistaking the day of the week could have disastrous consequences as deadlines, etc could be missed. I have found great use for this feature and has made me appreciate my DDII even more!! Any other DD owners find themselves actually using this feature? Cheers!!!

If I had one I would use it. Especially during summertime when the kids are out of school. I use my date function very often.

You must be joking. There are folks around here that can't live without a date. DD tells date day and time I wonder if they can deal with all three at once or do they need to look at their watch three times in a row.

I acquired a non-rolex day/date when my work schedule kept changing, and by Wednesday/Thursday/Friday,
I was having trouble focusing on which day it was.

I don't own a Rolex DD, but I do have a day complication on another piece and I do use it... at times I'm working or traveling 60-75 hours per week and at times I get exhausted and check to see what day it is.

i regularly need to know the day vs the date... the date is often of little consequence but the day of the week has eluded me for nearly 30 years thanks to an unconventional work week.

When I wore one it was always a good sanity check.

It would probably be a good idea for me to have one since I can't even remember what I had for breakfast most of the time

I'm wearing my sub today. I know what the date is, but not the day of the week.

Crap! If only I had on a Day-date instead!

I'd imagine it would be very helpful to have the day on your watch, I have a 14060m and while I love it, there are many times I wish it showed the day and date. One of these days I'll have enough cash for a president!

For some reason, the DD always ran slower Monday thru Thursday. It took forever for Friday to come around the dial

I find myself using it for the same reason cause I have my calendar on the phone and look at my week in terms of the days so I know if there is court on Thursday I remember it as on Thursday, not as on the 20th, so it helps quite a bit. I also have such a busy stressful job like you that I often forget what day of the week it is. yay for the day-date !

By Wed, Thurs - I'm sorta checking my day function a bit more.

You know the old joke - after Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF! :) :)

I use my day function a shocking amount. When I bought my day date I did not really think I would use it that much but it has surprisingly come in handy every time I have it on. So much so that when I wear any of my other watches I actually miss seeing it.

Thanks LightOnAHill! I use it pretty much in the same way you do! I think in terms of days and not dates. The DD just made this fact very apparent to me since I got it a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps we were destined to wear DDs!!!

It's a surprisingly useful feature when you have it, but not one I especially miss when I don't

You don't need a watch to tell the time either these days, i don't need the feature but i love the daydate still.

While in the course of my normal work routine, I find virtually no use for the 'Day' function.

However, when I'm on vacation, I consistently use this aspect of the DDII as I lose reference points to the day of the week. Perhaps this is unusual, but it happens every time I'm on vacation.
