I have seen this font in some DRSD, serial 5.05
Its a tipical font of specifico serial range?

Perfectly normal 5.05-5.14 ... You'd be more worried if it WASNT that font

looks fine , I'm pretty sure no one is out there faking the long font serial ...it would make no sense to do so as very few people are aware of it and it has to be explained.. in fact the only fake ones I've seen done have made the mistake of using the ''normal'' font ( or a close approximation of it), in a zone they shouldn't be using that one.

this font appears at other serial too briefly in tight grouping.

my best guess is that they had second machine and pantograph templates, and it was used when the main machine was broken, being serviced, overworked etc

It is good for your serial range. It has nothing to do with service cases.

I did not suggest that these were service cases or parts.

I was comparing this tall style of font with that which was also applied between the lugs of service cases of various models at various times, merely raising the question whether this was the same "second machine."
