1981 Datejust black face oyster bracelett
Where do I search to find one? This was my first Rolex purchased new in Bermuda. Had to sell via Sotheby's it in 1992 to finance a new business. Would love to have it back. Any ideas? There must be many out there wanting ot sell

The For Sale Section would be a good place to start.

If you are looking for the specific watch you sold years ago, I'd say the odds of finding it are not good.
If you have the serial number, you might get lucky with a web search. Even then it would probably still be a long shot to find it's current owner and then convince them to sell. However, if you are simply trying to find a similar replacement, that should be a relatively easy task. There were several different variations of the DateJust during that era, so the first step would be to narrow down exactly what configuration you are looking for: Automatic or Quartz? SS or two-tone? Engine turned, fluted, smooth, or "Thunderbird" bezel? Roman, stick, or diamond dial markers? Etc., Etc. |
