5513 real deal? Looking to buy

What you guys think? Polished or unpolished, Dont see chamfers though... Case was told 60s but dial changed in 70s... No box papers and says runs but can't guarantee unless you pay them to service it... Since I live in the same place I have to pay tax... What's this worth?

Maybe I finally found one for my father's wish before he goes...

bezel insert is a service or later one (should be a fat font) - crown is nice original twinlock - hands may be later can't tell

case isn't too bad but has been polished (and quite a lot) and dial is as has been said is a later one but should have been a meters first - possible even a gilt dial

I would beware of a seller claiming "never polished never serviced" when this is clearly not true

Yes, it's "real" but the case has unfortunately lost the fight with the polishing wheel...

I personally wouldn't buy it at that (current) asking price- maybe I'm cheap but for a '13 in that condition I'd pay no more than five grand for it.

Case restoration will be 1500+, you need a bracelet (1000+) correct dial (1000+) correct insert (1000+) it gets silly. It is nice to see the 700 crown on there but that's the least expensive bit to correct on these old references.

Add that up and you are over ten grand, and for that sort of money you can speak to one of the trusted sellers and get a nicer, more original and more complete example. Oh, and you'll KNOW that it has been serviced.
