Production years of 1665 MK3 double Red Sea Dweller
Hello,
I am curious in which years was Rolex 1665 Double red MK3 Sea dweller produced? How do I know that MK3 dial belongs to the watch's serial number and was not put in the case before it was even made. The latest MK3 I have seen was build in 1974 so not sure if that was the latest years for MK3 before MK4 was released. It would be really helpful if someone chips in. Many thanks |

I have a mk3 dial on a case with 1.7m sn. That sn suggests 1967. I don't understand how that's happened but not too bothered
