Ah Some Sales Assistants!. . .

On a break from Christmas shopping I popped into a large Rolex AD to try on a SS Daytona.

"We'll Sir, there is a 10 year waiting list for a SS Daytona"

"Here's a TT one, it's 14k Sir"

Well how much are the SS ones I ask?

"O, about 6.5k I would guess"

I just love some sales assistants!

You guys are all wrong, my AD said you have to spend $100k annually if you hope to one day own a SS Daytona.

I would have told them to order me a SS for the $6500 that they quoted and then watch them squirm. Lol

I'd order 5 SS Daytona for that price and let my kids collect them once available.

Patrick, I guess geography wasn't your strong point at school.
Ireland is not part of Britain, it is an independent country that uses the Euro.

I spend that much... just not on watches. Does that count?

Well... the MSRP for a SS Daytona in 2003 was $6550.

Maybe she meant the price for those that have been on "the list" for the last 10 years

Only 3 ADs here, as I imagine you know, with 5 outlets between them.

It was one if the two you listed though. . . .
