Posting of Replica Pictures for Informational Purposes
Hey Everyone
A friend of mine recently returned from vacation and brought with them a couple of VERY convincing replica Rolex's, two Explorer II's to be exact. I know the rule is: 4.FORUM IS NOT TO BE USED FOR : (i) LINKS TO REPLICA, PERSONAL OR COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISE WEBSITES or BLOGS, UNLESS WITH FULL PRIOR ADMIN PERMISSION, AND ANY FORM OF SELLING WHATSOEVER UNLESS WITH FULL ADMIN PERMISSION AND IN FOR-SALE FORUM ONLY.. My question is, would it be alright to post a few hi res photos of them for informational purposes? These look very convincing, have pretty smooth movements (hard to tell these apart from genuine unless you have a genuine next to it) and have every detail (even the laser etched logo on the crystal). I think the information would be valuable to those looking to buy a used or 'gray market' watch and want to learn the detailed in's and out's of a couple higher quality replicas. If this is not okay, Moderators please remove this and I won't post. Thank you! |

Not even for 'informative' purposes & certainly no side by side comparisons giving the fakers more of an idea of where they're going wrong !!! there's plenty of material out there to read up on the subject if genuinely looking 'not to be had'

The forum is very clear in talking about replicas and if they have got the Rolex name on them they are not replica's they are FAKES. Subject closed.
