16800 matte dial check
Hi team,
I'm about to purchase this one and just wanted a sanity check here. Looks pretty good to me, would be a later MK, maybe 3 or 4? Any one have any thoughts?

Is there some damage on the dial by the 1 o'clock lume?

Thanks for the check, I didn’t notice that before I’ll check, hopefully it’s dust...
I guess look at the plots for 1 & 10 they have a bit of white showing under, I’ve see it before but is that normal?

My personal opinion is that it is not that big of a deal: of course it is not 100% perfect, but the same darker spots you can notice between the 8 and 9 marker. I would say: enjoy it in good health.

One quick question: should a 16800 with a serial number 845xxxx have a glossy or a matt dial?

Thanks for all the input team!!
845XXXX certainly would be on the cusp and a collector would want something below the 800000 to be fully comfortable but this baby is for the wrist full time so it’s more for the eye than line up. My plan is to sit and wait for a nice minty case with low serial down the line...
