Well, not the Sbge245...

but still very, very happy with this, my first GS. The case is a lovely shape, the finish, at least to my eyes, impeccable...and I have to say there's nothing to complain about on the bracelet either.
No one will be surprised to learn it has neither gained nor lost so much as a second since I received it on Monday.

still have my eye on it's beautiful mahogany dialed brother....

quick pic with another sapphire bezeled piece...The GS appears way glossier...

Congratulations! Great watch, it replaced the GMT Master II in my collection. Love it!

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it replaced my Explorer II....

Congrats, this is my favorite GS GMT!

The style of the minute and hour hands remind me of a vintage Rolex Milgauss 1019.

The sapphire bezel is cool too.

You gotta love the date window and crown at the 4 O'Clock position.

Nice acquisition of an SBGE001. Looks none too shabby next to that FF Chrono, eh?

The Spring Drive accuracy is wonderful- and in no way can it be considered more quartz than mechanical!
It is in every real way a mechanical movement.
Enjoy your beautiful watch !

Thanks all and Happy Christmas, ( or applicable seasonal greeting ).

I've been really enjoying wearing this watch this past couple of weeks. As far as I can tell, it hasn't gained or lost a second.

Spending Christmas in London, so a fantastic opportunity to spend some time looking and trying on watches that I've seen online. Spent a fair bit of time in Selfridges Watch hall and at WoS across the road running through the gamut of brands...only two made an impression, JLC's Polaris and a couple of lovely GO's. (At both places I was complimented on my Grand Seiko, which was both surprising nice). Point being, I'm finding a lot of watches underwhelming in real life, whereas I'm constantly smiling at the 201....Looking forward to hitting up the seiko Boutique on Brompton Rd next week.
