New SBGE245 gmt in the flesh

Not an incoming...yet. I did put a deposit to think it over. But here it is! Only thinking it over because of some other financial obligations coming up/just incurred. What to do...lol.

Sharp colored watch. Cranberry? Hope you can swing it!

The website says “mahogany.” The pics do make it look a bit cranberry but had more of a brownish red tone in person. Def a very unique dial color.

Just out of curiosity, what is it you like like about it? Interested to hear. I like how some watches make people tick but not others.

Looks like the date wheel at 4 oclock is an after thought. I've never liked any watch with the date at 4 oclock. Just me...

I still don't understand how come Seiko came up with the ideas of an orange rubber like this

This watch is amazing. I've been wearing mine for a week. I actually love the placement of the date window. Very easy to read with just a slight turn of the wrist, easier than 3 o'clock if you ask me.

I love the slight touch of orange on the power reserve- looks beautiful against the dial colour!
