Worth $4.5K?

Would you consider this 18038 a good deal?

Do you know the service history...

Does it just come with the band (shirt not included, I assume)...

If we are talking retail, I'd offer $3.5 and settle for $4k IF it was recently fully serviced and comes with at least a 1 year warranty. I would also ask for a more substantial strap that fills the area between the lugs.

I'd need to see the lugs first.

x 2 . . . the strap is to small . . . .

So if that is how the owner is . . . I think there was no service done at all . . .

Service of a DD costs just a few $$$ more than a correct strap . . .

Thanks for the great advice and point of 60% of a new sub.

Needing a dress watch and figured this would fit the bill but the entire gold look worried me. So, He put a leather strap so I could see how it looked.

Thanks,

-Steve

$4,500 seems reasonable as the watch appears to be in very nice condition for its age.

Being a DD fan I like it. But like others said look for a better band and get the end links, it will make the watch look 100% better without the gaps.
